Mandatory CLE

Approved Mandatory Continuing Legal Education Credits

The Lithuanian-American Bar Association periodically provides programming approved by the Supreme Court for the State of Illinois for Mandatory Continuing Legal Education.

Our most recent program approved for Illinois CLE is the July 7, 2009 program in Vilnius, Lithuania’s Path to the Rule of Law: In Celebration of the 480 Year Anniversary of the First Statute in 1529. 3.5 General CLE credits in international law will be awarded to those who attend.

If you are not licensed in Illinois and your state requires Continuing Legal Education, contact your licensing board to find out the steps you need to take for necessary approval in your state for our programs. States often allow application of credits earned at programs approved by other states. LABAS will gladly provide you with any available written materials in advance of our programs for you to seek CLE in your home state

If you have suggestions for future continuing legal education programs, whether in the US or elsewhere, please contact any of our Board members.
