Mandatory CLE

Approved Mandatory Continuing Legal Education Credits

The Lithuanian-American Bar Association periodically provides programming approved by the Supreme Court for the State of Illinois for Mandatory Continuing Legal Education.

Our most recent program approved for Illinois CLE was the July 7, 2009 program in Vilnius, Lithuania’s Path to the Rule of Law: In Celebration of the 480 Year Anniversary of the First Statute in 1529. 3.5 General CLE credits were approved for those who attended.

If you are not licensed in Illinois but your state requires Continuing Legal Education, contact your licensing board to find out the steps you need to take for necessary approval in your state for our Illinois-approved programs. Some states automatically offer reciprocity for programs authorized by the State of Illinois, or allow application of credits earned at programs approved by other states. To the extent possible, and with enough advance notice, we can add features to our programs that your state might require.

If you have suggestions for future continuing legal education programs, whether in the US or elsewhere, please contact any of our Board members.
